The cx8200 chipset was released in 2015 and never had Windows 7 drivers developed for it, as far as i could find. Epson Aculaser M2000 Driver Windows 8. Lenovo has some Win8.1 drivers, but everything else is win 10 only because it was initially paired with Skylake and kaby lake processors.

Hi Recently I bought notebook HP Probook 430 g5 with configuration 2SY15EA: Despite I knew that it is not intended to work with Windows 7 I tried to install it and almost succeeded. Epson Stylus Dx4450 Printer Manual here. The only one problem is audio driver(Aida64 says that it is Conexand CX8200) which I cannot find. I tried downloading lastest and previous one driver for windows 10 from the notebook support page and installing it looks like that is installed, but in fact nothing happens in the device manager. I tried some other drivers I found with vid, pid and subsys of the chip, but noone works. For now, the audio device is called something like 'Device with High Definition Audio support'(sorry, I can't give proper name, my windows is in russian), the sound in system works correctly for speakers and earphones, but I'd like to finish driver installation somehow, at least to get system equalizer:) I tried to look into inf file of the driver. There is audio card ID, and it seems to be working for Windows 7 because it has lines with 'NTamd64.6.1' The ID of the device is following: HDAUDIO FUNC_01&VEN_14F1&DEV_2008&SUBSYS_103C8377&REV_1001 Please help me to find out is there any way to install audio driver for Windows 7 or I'll have to use only generic windows one Edited Jul 28, 2018 at 22:55 UTC.
