This is a common HP fault it's caused by the chip just about the touchpad. Unfortuately there is no great fix for this, infact it will get worse before it gets better. I have similar problems with a customers laptop (HP NX6110), I took the motherboard out and refolwed the solder on the chip but this only fixed the problem for a couple of weeks and then it went back to doing the same thing again. Try to find a computer engineer to perform that and see how long you can get out of it. Sorry there is no quick fix.
