It seams at least with the 4000TN (have no other printers to test this theory on) to put the 'original format' on the drive you need to load the 'wsjmsm.fpm' which is the 'Device Storage Manager' add-on to JetAdmin 8.1 (this addon replaces the old Resource Manager).
