Hi, I recently upgraded my HP Probook 4530S to Windows 8. Installed all drivers OK apart from mouse one. Hiti Photo Printer 640ps Driver For Windows Xp on this page. Synaptics driver refuses to install leaving me with no gestures or ability to disable touchpad. I am running Windows 8 Pro x64, no Firewall or Internet Security on to eliminate those.

Error messages I've got: Here's what I've tried so far: * Install Drivers for Windows 7 and 8 from HP Website (SP60686) - when I do that I get Synaptics (SMBDRV) Ready to Use and Synaptics (Syn TP) Failed * Forcing the driver manually through device manager - I get Windows Encountered a problem. Php Serial Port Communication Linux Wine. Cannot create a file when that file already exsists. * Going Update Driver Software from windows update - Same eroor as above. * Uninstalling Device / Driver - comes back after reboot.
